  • Merino Wool

  • Organic Cotton

The only sherpa beanies made from merino wool, not plastic.

These thick, ultra soft beanies may be the coziest beanies ever made. Knit in the USA from 100% US raised merino wool fleece and organic cotton, you've never felt a beanie like this before. The fuzzy goodness of sherpa fleece meets the sweat wicking, temperature regulating magic of merino wool to keep you warm and dry, and smiling all winter long.

SherpTek beanies are made from 100% merino wool fleece and organic cotton backing, these are the only plastic free sherpa beanies ever made! Once you put this on, you may never go back to regular beanies. You've been warned.

This is V2 with an updated 100% merino wool liner!

SherpTek fleece was originally developed for the military to create non melting insulation for the harshest, most dangerous conditions on earth. So not only are these beanies soft and warm, they're literally military grade.

Smaller than I expected, light weight, seems were too obvious. Not worth the price

worst piece of clothing I have ever seen

I have to admit to being excited at the prospect of getting my new sherpa cap, when I did get it I was appalled, the craftsmanship was child like visible seams showing white seams through the black material that I can best describe as black nylon mop head, it is small enough to fit a teen age girl to pull it on I thought it was going to rip the seams, Rustek should read this review because payola is filing a dispute for me, and it will be much cheaper for rusted to send a mailing label than for me to purchase the return shipping, this without doubt will be returned

Super!

I find it to be a bit chilly with wind and temps in the teens (F) or below but I would 100% buy again. If it gets too cold out I just wear a balaclava under it or a shell hood and I find the fun carefree look of this Sherpa hat tones down the visual abrasiveness of a balaclava. Plus I enjoy how fluffy this thing is. I really don't care for traditional beanies I feel like I don't have the head shape / face shape for them so I don't care for how I look but this one the Sherpa beanie I feel good with. I only wish there was fleece pile liner on the inside. I understand that adds a layer of production complication and price but would bring this hat to the next level. Now all that being said with the beanie in its current form I find it is great for very cold weather IF I have a good down jacket with a hood. It has enough breathability to it to keep moisture from accumulating and the fluffiness pared with the jacket hood helps create air pockets to trap warm air while allowing your body to vent moisture.

My Alaska beanie!

This beanie looks great and even better it's so comfortable. I purchased it to be worn underneath my trapper hat. I didn't think it would be warm enough for Alaska by itself. I was wrong! This is the only beanie I wore the whole trip in 5 to 15 degree weather.
